Swallowing

The Sports and Recreation Committee of Malmo, Sweden has just voted to allow women to go topless in the city's swimming pools. This is on the basis of equality with men, who are allowed into swimming pools topless and who, as the chair of the committee points out, often have breasts every bit as big as women's. I love the Swedish, they're such unflappable people.

I went swimming yesterday for the first time since my operation. The recent lack of cycling and swimming has left me with a podgy tummy so I eschewed the bikini/diving risk of accidental toplessness and wore a sensible navy blue bathing suit (with a bathing cap covered in peach-coloured daisies, because too much sensible isn't good for a girl). And now I'm spending the rest of the weekend losing my podge with the vomiting diet. I don't know exactly what was in that pool but I swallowed it. Maybe this is why some girls don't swallow?
